Situation COVID-19

Dear Sir or Madam

The safety of participants, speakers, exhibitors and employees of the SNS Academy 2020 is the first priority of the Swiss Neurological Society (SNS). Due to the increasing number of infections with the new coronavirus as well as the reduced number of participants at the USZ, the congress committee decided to conduct the SNS Academy 2020 from October 22nd to 24th, 2020 virtually via Zoom Conference. The SNS wants to avoid that participating persons become infected or have to go into an officially ordered quarantine. Furthermore, the virtual implementation will enable all interested parties to participate.

A virtual implementation of the SNS Academy 2020 requires certain changes. However, we are convinced that these will not affect the high quality of our event:

Sessions remain available online

All sessions remain available online for participants after the Academy (limited for three months).

Registration and further information

Bookings that have already been made will of course remain valid and are confirmed. New registrations can be done as before via our congress website.

Registered participants can use the login mask in the left sidebar on the congress website to get access to the zoom livestream and chat on the day of the congress. Please notice that in order to be able to ask questions during the lectures, all participants must register via Zoom. We communicate this to everyone beforehand, because unfortunately there are still hospitals that have blocked Zoom Conference.

Reduction of the participation fees

Due to the new circumstances the participation fees for the SNS Academy 2020 will be reduced. Already transferred fees will of course be refunded in the corresponding amount.

We are convinced that we will be able to offer you a high-quality event even in this challenging year and look forward to numerous participations at the virtual SNS Academy 2020!
